AKNOW participated in the first 2 days at the EDEN Open Classroom Conference 2015 and engaged in several bilateral and multilateral discussions with school representatives, educators, teachers, parents, public officials, etc. The conference was attended by more than 500 participants.

EDEN and Ellinogermaniki Agogi co-organized a three-day international conference in Athens, Greece. The event was earmarked as the next occasion in the EDEN Open Classroom Conference series with the involvement and support of thematically significant EU co-funded projects. The Conference incorporated the final event of the Digiskills project, a European project demonstrating ways to involve school communities in innovative teaching and learning practices, and empower teachers and trainers to use, share and exploit unique resource, as well as the Greenet project that aims to address the increasing necessity to develop an integrative approach in environmental education.

The hosting projects utilized their teacher communities and resources in the interest of a professional event, offering free training opportunities and promoting their best teaching practices.
