The International Symposium - "Unified approach to eLearning: Making education more inclusive through ICT"

On the 12th of November 2015, The Cyprus Neuroscience & Technology Institute (CNTI) and the partners of the e-Hoop project - Unified e-Hoop approach to learning differences (HOU, AKNOW, NTL, JKC and Dafnord Association), organized an International Conference titled "Unified approach to eLearning: Making education more inclusive through ICT". The conference took place at Filoxenia Conference Center in Nicosia, at 9:00am to 1:00pm and was attended by a range of credible individuals from both the academia and the research domain. Keynote speakers presented core findings regarding inclusive education and personalized learning through ICT.

About e-Hoop
e-Hoop is a project co-funded by the LifeLong Learning Programme of the European Union. The project is a collaboration between Cyprus, Greece, Germany, Lithuania, and Finland, with primary objective to create a universal, dynamic and adaptable e-learning environment able to offer free personalised training solutions to learners regardless of their cultural and social background. The e-Learning material is hosted and delivered in the form of Learning Objects, and meets specifications that enable and facilitate the e-Hoop concept, namely the philosophy that all people are equal and have equal opportunities in learning.
