FC attended the conference 'Child and Digital Media: From Gaming and Networking to Addiction and Bullying' on the 25th of May in 2013 in Athens, Greece. The conference intended to highlight the ways in which some mainstream digital media (internet, digital games, social media and others) can help in areas such as learning experiences, socialization, creativity and personal development as generally perceived by children and adolescents, as well as the identification of Internet risks (including Internet addiction and Cyber bullying). The event was in line with the project objectives. Scientists and educators portrayed the benefits and risks of Internet use for children and adolescents and presented their views on authoring and educating tools that can facilitate best the target groups' education on these subjects. Perhaps the subject of safer Internet is ideal for sample e-Hoop content.
